In Chinese ,The pronunciation of“bat”is sounds like “fu”,which means happiness/good fortune. In the same way, “deer” sounds like“lu”, which means “wealth”. And in ancient china people usually use“pine tree”as a visual metaphor to represent “longevity”. In this project we play with those element to create a new set of tableware design for Madan Zhu’s kitchen.
